Lotus Agar Agar powder is a vegetarian substitute for gelatine obtained from algae.
Lotus Agar Agar is completely odourless and flavourless, making it a versatile and ideal product for the use in both sweet and savoury recipes. Packaged in a re-sealable oxygen barrier bag to preserve freshness.
Agar agar contains no sugar, fat or carbohydrates hence why it has long been used in diet or low calorie foods. It sets more firmly than gelatine at a higher temperature. It can set at room temp, or even slightly warm.
