JUNIPER SPROUT MENSTRUAL CUP
The menstrual cups are reusable, safer, and cost-effective alternatives to pads and tampons! They’re small and flexible cups made of rubber or silicone and can be inserted easily and safely into the vagina to collect the menstrual blood! They’re ideal for swimming and work-outs, they hold blood for up to 12 hours so you can use overnight or for long shifts, they cause no allergies, odors or infections.
Sprout is the size for teen girls who just started having their period.
How to use:
1- Sterilize your cup by placing it in already boiled water for 3-5 minutes, make sure that there's enough water in the container so your menstrual cup won't stick to the bottom then rinse it in cold water.
2- Fold your juniper cup, there are many ways to fold your cup: C-fold, punch-down or 7-fold.
Once you choose the perfect fold for you, you're ready to insert. In order to do so, you must relax your muscles completely.
3- Then either squat, sit or place your foot-up.
When you're inserting make sure to not let go of your cup until the cup is fully inside your vagina.
Once you let go, the cup should pop creating a vaccum seal. To make sure of that, use your fingers to feel around the base of the cup. There shouldn't be any folds, but if there are, all you have to do is hold the base gently, not the stem, and rotate it softly until it completely pops open.
5- Enjoy your day comfortably. And forget about your period for the next 8-12 hours or until you have to empty your cup out again.
7- To remove it simply get into one of the previous positions ( squat, sit, place foot-up) and use your abdominal muscles and fingers to remove it. Gently press the base of the cup to release the vaccum. And using the base, not the stem, rock the cup slowly back and forth sliding the cup out.
