Stinging nettle (Urtica dioica) also known as common nettle is a plant with pointed leaves and white to yellowish flowers.
It’s been used for centuries for its health benefits.
Stinging nettle possesses remineralizing properties that helps with rheumatoid arthritis and osteoporosis. It also helps with detoxifying the body as it stimulates the organs of elimination and it could be used to treat constipation.
Stinging nettle is also beneficial for the skin and hair as it could be used as hair tonic to induce hair growth, fight hair loss, give strength and shine and balance oily scalp. For the skin it purifies and balances oily and combination skin.

Aqua, Urtica diotica (stinging nettle, leaves and flowers).

Additional Information

As a treatment over several days: Add 1-2 tablespoons in 1L of water to drink over the day or add 1 teaspoon in a glass of water 3 to 4 times daily. Continue the treatment for 20 to 25 days, and take a 5-day break before starting again if necessary. Occasionally to act on more acute problems: Add 1 teaspoon in a glass of water and take 1 to 4 times a day. External use for the skin: -Use morning and night, by spraying directly on skin or on a cotton pad. -As a compress, for localized application: Dilute 4 to 5 tablespoons in 100ml of water. Immerse a compress and apply to the skin. Leave on for 20 minutes. External use for the hair: Spray scalp or use as a rinse after your shampoo .
